Some Fun Recipes to Promote Self-love

My favorite Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe:

Chocolate Tahini Chocolate Chip Cookies (Grain-free, Oil-free, and vegan) Oh, So Delicious!

Ingredients:

1/2 cup Tahini (creamed sesame seeds) stirred

1/3 cup Coconut Sugar or other fine sugar of your choice

1/2 tsp vanilla extract

2 Tbsp non-dairy milk (room temp)

3 Tbsp cocoa powder

1/2 tsp baking powder

1/4 tsp of salt, fine, and specialty salts work to suit your pallet. 

1.5 Tbsp Coconut flour (if you are gluten-tolerant, you can sub 3-4 Tbsp instead of Coconut flour and starch.

1 Tbsp Tapioca Starch or other starch unless subbing flour.

1/4 cup mini chocolate chips

Optional: 1/4 cup walnut pieces and or coconut flakes or shreds.


Instructions:

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (180 degrees C). Line the baking sheet with parchment paper. Mix the Tahini, sugar, vanilla, and non-dairy milk until well combined, being careful not to over-mix.

Add the rest of the ingredients and mix gently. At this point, you can add any of the optional ingredients, such as nuts, coconut flakes, or shreds, along with the chocolate chips, one at a time (or mix together, then fold in). Fold in to evenly distribute them in the dough.

Shape into balls and flatten on the parchment paper on the baking sheet. For added flair, you can decorate the tops with reserved toppings, such as chocolate chips, coconut flakes, or nuts, pressing into the top.

Bake at 350 for 10 minutes. Cool for 2 minutes before removing it from the baking sheet to cool completely. Enjoy!
