From a young age, I’ve always felt like I saw the world through a different lens. At just eight years old, I found myself asking big questions about life’s purpose—questions that no one around me seemed able to answer. Religion offered some insights, but they never quite addressed the depth of what I was seeking. By age 15, I knew my calling was to help ease the pain I saw in the world. What I didn’t realize at the time was that this was also a reflection of my own inner struggles—a lesson I would come to understand on my personal journey of healing and growth.
Over the years, I’ve discovered that the answers to life’s profound questions don’t always come easily. Some things can only be understood through experience. Looking back, I realize that had I received the answers I longed for as a child, I wouldn’t have been ready to fully grasp them. I have come to appreciate our journeys are lifelong, as I learn more with each new step.
